• Having been a Solicitor/Partner at Foot Anstey Solicitors of Exeter for around 30 years and having since 2011 been active in the Voluntary Sector,  Angus has developed a very strong database of contacts and potential trustee candidates.
  • Angus continues to meet potential candidates on a regular basis through social contact and his work including as trustee of three charities including WESC Foundation.
  • Angus’s first task will be to find out all he possibly can about your Charity and its’ Strategic Plans as well as working with you to assess where the gaps are in your skillsets.
  • We will work with you to provide/update your Job Description for the  trustee role.
  • Angus will only ever recommend to you people  who he personally would be happy to serve with on a Trustee Board; in other words good humoured, measured people with the relevant background and experience who adopt the appropriate balance between listening and speaking.
  • Our track record with  WESC Foundation, Exeter Cathedral Music Foundation, Chime Foundation, Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education, Families for Children, Horseworld,  Horseshoes and Handprints and others demonstrates that we really are well placed to produce for you the basis for a really effective Board.
  • All of the Trustees that Angus has placed in recent years have remained in their roles which shows they were indeed a good fit.
  • Geographically, Angus has excellent contacts throughout Exeter, Bristol and the South West Generally though he also has good links with London and the South East, his family home having been in Hindhead Surrey.
